Scrapbooking Classes

A basic scrapbooking class must be taken prior to any of the other courses. Payment is required at registration (cheque or cash). Please check with us prior to any class as classes with low registration July be cancelled. The minimum age to attend is 9 years old, for crops the minimum age is 16 years old. Refunds for cancellation require 48 hours notice. Classes and Crops are $15 per person. You also get 15% Off All Supplies purchased during Scrapbooking Classes or Crops!

Please bring the following supplies to all classes except basic scrapbooking classes: A personal trimmer, a pencil/eraser, small straight scissors, 12" ruler, chalk, photo squares/glue, eyelet setting kit, an xacto knife and a cutting mat.

The following are detailed descriptions for the Scrapbooking Classes currently running at the store. Please check back every so often as we are continuously adding new classes throughout the year.

THEME PAGES (Intermediate/Advanced Level)
Interested in creating eye-catching and decorative background pages for your theme pictures? This is the class is for you. Pictures are added at home. Required Materials: Pre-packaged kit (purchased at class) and basic supplies listed above.

LAYOUT KITS (All Levels)
Check out the Creative Scrapbooks store for the latest layout kits you can purchase, take home and make. Each kit comes with supplies, instructions and a photo to complete a 2 page layout.

CROPS
We offer a variety of evening, all-day and special events crops. Please check the store for upcoming crops.

LET'S START SCRAPBOOKING - Group Lessons
New to scrapbooking? Then this is the class for you! Let me help you put together a beautiful two page layout using many of the latest scrapbooking techniques. Bring 6-12 photos on one specific theme to create one layout. Please also bring any tools you have such as a cutter, adhesive and scissors. All tools can be purchased during the lesson as I will go through each item needed to get started. Come discover what tools and materials are needed for scrapbooking! This is a 3 hour class with a minimum of 3 people required. If less than 3 people signup, class will be rescheduled for a later date.

SUMMER SCRAPFEST
Join us for our Summer Scrapfest event on Friday, July 23rd (6pm to 11pm) and Saturday, July 24th (10am to midnight). Take a break from your hectic summer and spend the weekend scrapbooking! There will be Make & Takes, Contests, Prizes, and much more. Snacks and beverages all weekend long, plus a continental breakfast, a light lunch, and a hot dinner served on Saturday evening. Fees are $75.00/person for both days, call 780-944-1441 to reserve your spot.
